Audio products Inc (AIX) has launched its new “K-Audio” line of headphones, which are available as both standalone headphones and as a pair with its popular Echo speaker.
Key points:AIX has been experimenting with new audio products for over a decade but hasn’t yet produced a product with a headphone jack.
The K-Audio line will be available in two sizes: one with a microphone, one withoutOne of the new K-Apes features is the ability to have headphones connected to speakers, making them much easier to connect and use.
K-Ape headphones will have a built-in microphone, a USB port for charging and an optional earphone jack.
You can use the earphone as a separate sound source, but the headphones have a very clear sound signature and it makes them great for listening to podcasts, movies and music.
You also have the option to put them into a separate speaker and make them an audio device for the room.
The headphones also have Bluetooth connectivity, which will allow them to be used in a variety of devices.AIX’s CEO, Dr Ian Breen, said that the K-audio line would allow customers to get a better sound quality, and the addition of Bluetooth makes it easy for people to use with different devices.
“The KApe line of products has a very positive sound quality for the earphones and can be used with headphones as well as other audio devices such as a headset or a speaker,” he said.
“They’re all compatible with Bluetooth, which is a great feature.”
It’s not the first time that Aix has experimented with audio products.
In 2008, the company released its first headphones with a USB hub, allowing for the use of a wireless microphone.
The company’s new line of audio products will be in stores in the coming months.
