GM Brian McLellan has addressed some of the goaltending problems with the Stars, saying he’ll have a good week and a bad day.
“I have a pretty good idea of where the team is right now,” McLellin said after the team’s morning skate.
“We are going to go through some of these things.
It’s going to be a long week for sure.
It’s just not fun to go into games thinking you’re going to play a game, and you have to be in your locker room for a long time.
There are going be a lot of things that I’m going to have to address.”
MacLellin was asked about the goaltenders’ play this week after he gave a pregame speech to his players, but he said it’s been “pretty quiet” and said he was still adjusting to the new system.
He was also asked if the team has any other issues to deal with, and he said, “no, not really.”
He said he has “no idea” if the goalie situation is related to the goalie’s play.
“We’ve been pretty quiet about it,” McLllin said.
“I don’t think anybody’s really got an answer right now.”
The Stars will take on the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night in a home-and-home series.
The teams will face off again on Oct. 29.
