Alex Speiers comments are likely to be the most-discussed part of a new Fox Sports interview.
The Fox Sports Insider’s Alex Speiher took a look at Trump’s strategy for a potential 2018 presidential bid, and the president’s relationship with technology.
The segment focused on a hypothetical meeting between Trump and Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Speier: What is your strategy to beat the competition?
Speier, who is currently the vice president of the technology and innovation program at Stanford University, has long had a relationship with the technology industry.
In May, he was the first person to be named to the company’s leadership team.
In July, he joined Apple as vice president for the Apple Developer Program, which helps to recruit and train developers.
The White House has said that it would like to bring in as many as 50,000 more Apple engineers over the next three years.
Apple has long been one of the most outspoken critics of Trump.
Last week, Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in a video message that he does not “support the idea of a president that encourages bigotry and discrimination.”
In June, Apple announced that it had created a new program, called “Unveiling,” to provide support to LGBT employees.
The program includes free legal services and counseling for LGBT employees, and it will be available through the end of September.
